In Bethesda's expansive space RPG, Starfield, the base-building function offers players the opportunity to establish outposts on various planets, adding a layer of personalization and resource management to the game. While the existing feature is commendable, there's a single addition that could significantly enhance the base-building experience: the ability to tame and ride local planetary creatures.

Starfield presents a diverse universe with planets ranging from hospitable environments, like Jemison with the city of New Atlantis, to more challenging landscapes, such as the perilous mining colony of Cydonia on Mars. Despite some planets featuring established areas for players, the option to build their outposts provides an additional dimension to space exploration. These outposts can serve as farming and processing hubs, contributing to players' income and allowing for the creation of XP farms to enhance abilities and acquire new skills.

While the current outpost system is already a standout feature in Starfield, the potential addition of creature taming and riding would elevate the player experience. Drawing inspiration from games like Ark: Survival Ascended and Ark: Survival Evolved, this proposed feature could unlock a new level of interaction with the diverse alien fauna inhabiting the planets. Presently, these creatures often serve as adversaries or remain overlooked in the vast ecosystems.
